All the GRR riders,

	As people begin heading for Davis, I'd like to wish you all the
best of luck on this years Gold Rush! 

	Drink lots, get plenty of electrolytes, take a minute here and
there to slow down and enjoy the surroundings, and take plenty of
pictures! I know the only way I remember the second half of a 1200k is
looking at the pictures I've taken, of the scenery, the controls, and
the folks I've ridden with. Talk about having flashbacks! Even a
disposable beach camera will survive a jersey pocket and take pictures
plenty good for that!

	Much as I wish I could join you, last minute problems will be
keeping me here at work. I'll be reading the ride reports and cheering
you all on! With just a little luck, I'll be getting my 1200k dose at
BMB this year.
