Hi Dave
The 1000k-200k closing times are the same as the 1200k up to Tobin Resort
inbound. Thereafter you must follow the closing times for a normal 200k.
These are listed on the Rider Progress page of the web site.
http://davisbikeclub.org/goldrush/riderprogress.htm
Basically, since we don't know what time you will start your 200k, the times
are just Start Time + an offset.
About the 1000+200k option, some brief rules:
1) the 1000k portion ends at Tobin, there are 14 riders signed up for this
option. They have separate cards. When a 1000k rider arrives at Tobin,
they must check in as if its the end of their ride. They will not turn in
their card, however, since the 1000k and 200k are on one card.
2) The Tobin control will initial and enter the start time for the 200k
section, to be written on the card, when the rider leaves Tobin. Rider may
take a break without time penalty for the 200k portion at Tobin before
starting the 200k brevet.
3) Rider must start the 200k portion before you close the control at the
stated time for 1200k riders or 1000k riders, whichever is last.
4) In order to get a GRR jersey, the 1000k-200k rider's TOTAL time for the
ENTIRE distance, including any downtime at Tobin, must be under 90 hours,
just like the GRR riders.
5) Riders that decide to quit at Tobin with just a 1000k should sign and
leave their card at Tobin and find their own way back to Davis, or wait for
infrequent, unknown time when Sag or support crew is going through Tobin.

Subject: [GRRiders] 1000K control times
Is there a listing somewhere for the closing times for the 1000K controls?
I am planning to ride the 1000K+200K option and I would like to edit my cue
sheet to reflect the correct closing times.
Also, can you include the URL for the GRR email archive in your reply? I
had been accessing it from a link on the rider list page, but the new final
rider list no longer has this link and I couldn't find it anywhere else on
the site.
Thanks,
Dave Burns
