[GRRiders] Calling my shot

A mediocre joke gone bad.
I was trying to suggest that anyone that is already registered, is perhaps, far too energetic and aggresive to be the lantern rouge, when those with an overall lantern rouge mentality haven't even gotten around to registering yet.

They mean on the ride itself. There are those of us who definitely ARE serious contenders for the
"Lantern Rouge" based on our ride times. I've finished 1200Ks with as little as 50 minutes to spare
and as much as 90 minutes to spare ... so I highly doubt there will be many people behind me on the
Gold Rush! :)

Folks,
I'm rather confused.
I don't know how anybody who is listed as "Yesride" and "paid/qualified" can believe themselves a
serious contender for the "lantern Rouge" when there are still people riding qulaifiers this
weekend, and folks listed as "Mayberide" that will probably need to FedEx their application to meet
the final cutoff date.
Can somebody 'splain that to me?
Pete

No matter your speed, David, all the checkpoint workers will be happy to see
you and all the other riders. Bonne Route!
